Latest from the Bridge Church
Hello there Bridge Church Family,
Pastor Rob here, and I just want to say that I am SO looking forward to being there this Sunday with all of you at our amazing church home! Our worship experience starts at 10 a.m., and it truly wouldn’t be the same without you there.
It has been a huge encouragement for me to hear some of your stories and experiences as you go through The Journey—our 7-week discipleship experience aimed at bringing us all closer to God. I’m so grateful for the way God is already moving in our church family through this. My prayer is that The Journey helps each of us grow spiritually healthier as we step into everything that God has planned for us next at The Bridge.
And if you haven’t started The Journey yet, don’t worry—there’s still time! Just text “JOURNEY” to 775-363-0660, and we’ll start sending you daily devotionals, weekly Bible teaching videos, and other important spiritual growth resources from both me and Pastor Phil. I’m so proud of each one of you for diving deeper in your faith!
This Sunday, we’re also continuing our series in the Book of Acts that we’ve been calling “We Are The Church”. I’ll be teaching on Acts 8:1-24, and I’m calling the message “The Church’s Purpose.” In this powerful passage, we’ll see how God sometimes uses the difficult and painful parts of our lives to move us forward on His mission. It’s a reminder for all of us to step out of our comfort zones, to share Jesus freely, and to live courageously for the Gospel. I’d love for you to bring your Bible as we study and apply God’s Word together.
And…I know we’re not there just yet, but Christmas is right around the corner! This Sunday, we’re going to start unveiling some of the exciting plans we have for Christmas at The Bridge! Trust me—this will be a Christmas season like no other, and I can’t wait to share how you can join in to make it unforgettable.
I also encourage you to bring a friend with you this Sunday. A personal invite can make all the difference, and I know they’ll be blessed by the community and the message we’ll share.
Remember, God is able to do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20), and as we pursue Him together, I believe He’s going to continue to do great things in and through each and every one of you.
See you at 10 a.m. this Sunday. I’m so proud of you and can’t wait to worship with you!
With love and excitement,
Pastor Rob
