Latest from the Bridge Church
Hello Bridge Church Family!
Pastor Rob here, and on behalf of my entire family (Heather, Calvin, Owen & Knox)…let me just say that I am absolutely beyond thrilled to finally be here with all of you! For those who don’t know, we officially arrived in Reno late Monday night, and we've spent this entire week getting settled into our new home and getting acquainted with this beautiful city. And let me just say…Reno is already starting to feel like home, and that's all because of YOU!
In fact, Heather, the boys, and I have been absolutely blown away by the incredible love, support, and servant-heartedness that you’ve already shown us. And because of that, we want to say a huge THANK YOU for all of the meals, the thoughtful gifts, the great conversations, the encouraging texts, and the sweet moments of fellowship that we've had with so many of you already. You’ve made us feel so welcome, and it means the world to us. We are also so grateful for the simple but essential things, like cleaning supplies, temporary furniture, and even vehicles to borrow while our car is still making its way across the country—wow, what a blessing you all are!
Now, let me just say, that this Sunday is going to be an unforgettable worship experience that you won’t want to miss. And that’s because this weekend, we are launching into a brand new message series through the book of Acts that we are calling "We Are The Church.” And this 8-week journey is going to prepare us for the amazing things God has in store for our church family. Together, we’ll dive deep into the resources, power, pattern, priorities, posture, and mission of Jesus’ Church, learning how the Holy Spirit empowers us to fulfill His purposes in this world. It’s going to be a series that will leave us encouraged, transformed, and emboldened to carry out God’s plan for The Bridge.
This Sunday, I’ll be teaching from Acts 1:15-26, as we discover the supernatural resources that the Spirit of God provides to help us discern His unique will for our lives. I can’t wait to unpack these powerful truths with you!
Another reason this Sunday is extra special…is because this weekend we are kicking off our brand-new "Witness Challenge”—which is a church-wide, virtual mission trip designed to give us practical tools and encouragement to share our faith with those around us. It’s an exciting opportunity for us to step into the mission God has called us to, and I know it’s going to inspire and equip all of us in new ways.
So, bring your Bibles, invite your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers, and come ready for an unforgettable time of worship and fellowship. I believe that God is about to do something new and incredible in our midst!
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” – Isaiah 43:19
We are so excited to see what God has in store for The Bridge Church. Let’s step into this new season together, with hearts full of faith and expectancy!
With deep gratitude and anticipation,

Kids Kingdom News:
We are sorry for the inconvenience with Kids Kingdom being closed last Sunday, but the children's safety is always my first concern. This Sunday we will have Kids Kingdom open but the nursery will not be available. Also this Sunday will be Kingdomfest. We have a great activity planned for the children as well as a special snack. When you see Pastor Rob, and his family let's all give him a great Bridge Church welcome. Can't wait to see everyone on Sunday. Please pray for each other and remember Kids Kingdom will be open Sunday but the nursery will not. -Miss Terry
