Merry Christmas
Dear Bridge Family and Friends.
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).” (Matthew 1:21–23)
Kim and I would like to take a moment to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Most Blessed New Year. May the truth that Christ came to save us from ours sins bring you comfort and joy. And may that comfort and joy spill out onto your family, friends, neighbors, everyone, your oikos, as we celebrate Immanuel” (God with us).
If this year was full of difficulty and pain, may you find comfort in these words
"Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” (Psalm 126:5–6)
God wastes none of our pain and suffering and we will understand it more fully someday.
