Give Thanks!
Dear Family and Friends,
As we take time to be thankful over the next few days, I want you to know that I am thankful for you!. I know that these last few years have been challenging and life-changing for all of us and there are still challenging times ahead for all of us.
But I am grateful to God for you and your partnership in both ministry and life as we all seek to grow in God's grace and faithfully follow Him with our lives. I encourage all of us take to some time to pause and reflect on God's goodness to us.
The words from Psalm 100 come to my mind today and I pause to give thanks to God for all of his blessings in my life.
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.” (Psalm 100)
May we all pause to give Thanks to God for His many good gifts to us. May we also take the time to give thanks to the people that we truly are grateful for. Finally, may we grow in our gratitude for even the struggles we face, knowing that God is at work all the time in our lives in both the good and bad times.
Happy Thanksgiving to you!
