Special Guest!

This Sunday, Gilbert Foster, from our ministry partner “When I Grow Up!” will be with us as our guest speaker for both services.  He will give us an update on Furaha and then share God’s word with us.  You will laugh, be encouraged, and challenged by him and will want to join us.
Upcoming Events:
 

• Foster the City Support Friend Training:  Sunday June 12th at noon: This is for all who signed up, and others who are interested, to help and support families who choose to foster children in our church,.
• Kids Camp: June 20-24: 5:30-8:30: Come explore what God’s word says about the Fruit of the Spirit. Light supper will be provided. Sign up using the connection card at https://thebridgereno.com/kidscamp.
• Student Ministries Day Camp: June 27-July 1: Students will have a week filled with activities, fun and will study “The Power of Prayer” together. Sign up using the connection card at https://thebridgereno.com/daycamp.
• Community Gardens Project:  Take a moment on Sunday while you are here to check out the incredible progress being made in the garden.  Next week, our Food Pantry will give away fresh kale and garlic that is being grown there.

 
Financial Update May 31, 2022
 
Budget: $225,000                  Income: $201,010                  Expenses: $221,900
 
 Welcome Center Update: $34,873 of the $200,000 goal we set as we began construction
 
Thanks so much for your faithfulness in giving.  As you can see, we are behind in both our general fund giving thus far for the year and in the amount we need to raise to finish the Welcome Center project debt-free.  Please join me and the Board and the staff as we pray for God to provide the resources we need to accomplish His mission through the Bridge.  Then, give as God directs so that we might together honor Him as we faithfully follow.
