This Sunday, Joy in Choosing Humility! We all love to see humility in action but it’s hard to do it ourselves in the heat of the moment. Humility is not thinking less of myself bit thinking of myself less and thinking more of others. This week, we’ll talk about the ultimate example of the one who chose humility for us and how you and I can do the same.
Operation Christmas Child through October 24th: These gift-filled shoeboxes travel to the ends of the earth to being great joy to children and the good news of Jesus Christ. You can pick up a shoebox on Sunday morning. All shoeboxes must be returned by Sunday October 24, 2021. Or you can go online and build a shoebox to send: https://thebridgereno.com/occ
Starting Point Class: Sunday, Oct. 24, 11:45 am. In this class, you will learn why the Bridge Church exists, where we’re headed, what we believe and how you can be a part of our mission and vision. This class is in person or online and will be after our second service. A light lunch will be served. You can sign up through the Connection Card, please let us know how many will join the class and if you need childcare. https://thebridgereno.com/connection-card
Board of Trustee Selection: We are now receiving recommendations for the Board of Trustees for 2022. Any Member of the Church may submit a signed letter or email to the pastor or a the Board for the purpose of recommending a potential Trustee who is of good character and shows commitment to the mission and vision of the Church between now and November 7, 2021.
Welcome Center Update: $812,775.00. This is now our total for the Welcome Center based upon our initial gift and the on-going gifts that we have received. Thank you so much! Final plans were submitted to the city for their approval several weeks ago and we are waiting to hear from them. We will let you know once we do. Please continue to pray for God’s direction as we seek to follow Him.

Year to Date: Budget: $383,039 Income: $374, 884 Expenses: $382,352
Thanks so much for your generous support of this ministry. Our giving was down quite a bit for September. Please pray God to provide for the needs he has called us to serve and meet and give a God directs. Your gifts are helping change lives. Blessings to all of you.
